Hi,i've made recently a pair of loudspeakers,i'm still testing(voicing... etc) ,with the same speakers but different design, from scratch,~108 liters Vb for the woofer and Fb ~34hz,with the midrange under the tweeter(not above),no slanted front,2 ports 80mm on the back, mdf 18,double front and a lot of ranforcements and i tried in the begining the filter from the ciare project and it sounded weird, probably because of the modifications i've made(changes in the phase). The Ft1,between the wf and tw it sounds ok ,but Ft2 need some work. The lower treble is very agressive, shouty and sibilant, expecially on axis!,and in the last days i tested different values for the crossover(by the way,i have the same stiky silicone on the suspension of the midrange, and i think it does what someone told below on this topic). The tw has some minor breakup between 10-15k but it doesn't need modeling,i have bought the speakers in 2009.
I dont know if it will work for you,but if you have the components you could give t a try and let me know if the souns improves
The mid and the tw needs to be wired in the same polarity, and the woofer with revese polarity. The modifications i've made in Ft1 i think are no interest because i have a different volume, but try this for the mid and tw: remove the 3,3R you've put between hp and lp filter, and put: 1,5R before the filter,6,8uf and 0,33mh and on the mid 1,5-2,7R(try) the same, leave in place the hp and for the lp 1,2mh (dcr<0,3ohmi) and a notch ,8,8Uf + 0,12mh.There is no R in the circuit, only the one fron the inductor dcr,and it must be <0,3ohms.The values for the notch must be very precise, try to measure them.I don't think you need some shematics ...You could try to put something under the loudspeaker maybe it sound beter than slated, because i didn't align the speakers on the zero delay plane
The point of crossover remains the same, 2,5k.The mid has a nasty and ugly breakpup,it doesn't dissapear off the radar with second order ,neither third. With second order plus notch the point of crossver is pull down ,under 2k,and if the values for the inductor is lowered to keep the Ft ~2,5k the midrange is shouting
By the way,the woofer needs a lot of damping material(i prefered artificial sheep wool over the foam because it doesn't reduce the spl and bass(i don't know how it's name in italian,it's name acoutilux or dacron on the internet ,or the white one ,poliestere on the ciare catalog)) and you could try to change the electrolitic cap in the hp ,the 47 uf one ,with mkp or mkt,i tried jantzen crosscap,~10E /piece
I came up on this topic and i found it interesting.Sorry i dindn't write in your language ,i use google to translate.I don't do very good neither in english, but i thouht it's better than my native language
Good luck
